How can we help?

Report a problem with an article

In the article's menu, choose “Report article” to open an email with the link already filled in, then add a description and send it yourself. You can also copy the link and send it to the support email. You can also report inappropriate content or a content rights complaint. We review and act on the reports we receive; turn the source off in Following to stop seeing new posts from it.

Notifications not arriving

Check Settings → New article notifications in the app, and AI News's notification permission in your device settings. Only sources you follow that the system supports send news; not every post arrives immediately.

Buy or restore a plan

On iOS you do not need to create or sign in to an AI News account to buy or restore. Use the same App Store account you bought with, then go to Settings → Remove ads → Restore purchases. The server verifies the transaction with Apple before updating ad-free access. If you do not see your plan, check your App Store account, your network connection and the subscription status in Apple's settings. Manage renewal and request refunds through the store that processed the transaction. Do not send us your Apple password.

Privacy and account deletion

See the privacy policy and the account deletion guide. Do not send passwords, 2FA codes, payment card details or secret keys. Screenshots and error details are only sent if you choose to attach them.

Interface and notification language

In the multilingual version, go to Settings → Language to choose the interface language or use the device language; languages that are not supported use English. The target language for translating articles is chosen separately. The language you choose in the app does not change the operating system's notification language; translated notifications use the device language or the app language managed by the operating system.

Translate an article and view the original

Choose translate in the reader, agree to download the language pack if needed, then choose the target language. You can cancel and switch between the original and the translation. iOS 18 or later is needed to translate with Apple Translation; on iOS 16–17 you can still read the original. Android needs a supported version from Android 6 (API 23) and uses Google ML Kit, with Wi-Fi when downloading language packs. Android does not yet offer translation into Traditional Chinese; the Traditional Chinese interface is still supported. Whether a language pair can be translated depends on the platform and the available packs.

If translation does not work, check the operating system version, the language pair, free storage and Wi-Fi when a model needs downloading. Very short or hard-to-detect passages may stay unchanged. Automatic translation can be wrong; always check the original, especially numbers, code, names and quotations. Content that could not be loaded remains an excerpt; the translate button does not unlock the full text.
